DACA, or Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, is a program that protects about 800,000 young people identified as “DREAMers” who were brought to the US illegally as minors. While the program does not grant them official legal status or a path to citizenship, it does allow them to obtain a driver’s license, a social security number, and a work permit.
DACA Workshops
What is DACA?
DREAMers are
the Future
If you are a DACA beneficiary and like to know more about DACA and work permits (Employment Authorization Documents), when the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is accepting applications or when the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is allowing travel; we invite you to attend one of our workshops. Immigration Attorney Victor Segura will be able to answer any legal questions.
